In the past, the exchange office will normally provide power for Fire Panel or Emergency Phone, but in POTS Replacement, ATA, router, or LTE modem need to be powered individually. More power consumption device brings more complexity and more issues if power outage does happen.

There are many solution in the market that will use mini UPS (Via DC Port) as power redundancy. But these solution usually don’t provide capability in checking the battery status or managing the battery remotely while these functions are crucial to long time operation.

01
ATA with Battery

Flyingvoice’s full series of POTS replacement with the internal battery, once DC power supply is down and Flyingvoice hardware will keep running with internal battery seamlessly. If DC power supply is back to normal, Flyingvoice hardware will charge the internal battery, ensuring uninterrupted running when facing power failure.

Type-C for Power Bank

PR08-Pro support connecting 65W PD power bank, you can choose between different capacity power banks according to your system’s actual usage. When the main DC power is lost, the PR08-Pro will automatically switch to power bank to maintain the whole system. When the DC power is restored, it will charge the power bank. It supports PD 3.0 protocol, providing you more flexibility in choosing the power bank.

Universal Power Supply

PR08-Pro is an 8 FXS ATA gateway that could provide power for other device in your POTS replacement system. It is equipped with dual PoE out WAN port and one Molex Micro-Fit 3.0™ 4-pin DC output. This will allow you to connect router or 4G modem that is not support power redundancy, by using Flyingvoice hardware, any devices can be turned into power redundant device.

Power Cycle

Under prolonged and continuous operation, the device will inevitably malfunction, which may cause the device to die and become unresponsive. Power cycle allows you to set a daily/weekly/monthly timed task to reboot the PR08-Pro or external device that are powered by PR08 to clear possible factors that would lead to system failure. You can also execute a command to perform Power Cycle via Cloud Management Platform to clear error that happens in your router or 4G modem.

More Hardware to Trust

Benefiting from a low-power design, Flyingvoice now launching a new compact device——PR12 that can support up to 24h redundancy time in POTS replacement. This small-size device is integrated with 4G modem and full function ATA, it is equipped with built-in battery and support dual power supply: PoE input and DC input.

If you are looking for reliable hardware for unstable scenarios this is what you're looking for.

Besides Flyingvoice PR08-Pro and PR12Flyingvoice will continuedly launch more device that originally support power redundancy to adapt to different

solution.
