Transfer

For receptionist , There is often a call to look for some employees in the company. It needs to use the transfer function in IP phone. There is three types of transfer, All forward, busy forward, no answer forward, Let us take a look at setting ways.
(1) My colleague xiaozhang comes to front desk and say, he will have a meeting later, but his customer may will call him, if someone calls him , Please pick up for him. The receptionist is very happy to agree, I am very curious, If the configuration is complex? The receptionist says that is not complicated, and tell me how to configure.
1. Login in web of IP Phone,Phone—Preferences, Then find the features, Enable the all forward (Transfer all call) or Busy forward (Transfer when the callee is busy) or No answer forward (Transfer when the callee is no answer).And enable the feature that you want to. Then fill in the number that you want to forward (The following picture is extension 618).
1.Extension 629 call extension 603,603 pick up,You can see transfer in the lower left corner. As shown in Figure 2 below.
Three.Our leader call to receptionist, And say not important thing need’t to transfer to him. I know this need to use ask transfer, But how to configure? Let me show you. (The following is 629 call 603, 603 ask 633 if or not can transfer to 633.)
1.The extension call 603, 603 pick up, You can see transfer in the lower left corner. As shown in Figure 6 below.
2.Enter Hold button, 629 will listen to hold music, 603 will show holding, As shown in Figure 7 below, Then enter transfer, call 633, As shown in Figure 8 below.
Four.We learned how to transfer by IP phone, but how to do by gateway that connected analogy phone. Let us have a look.
Find the Supplementary Services label under the FXS page that you want to use, enable the “calling waitting” feature (Enable is default). As shown in Figure 12 below.
A.Enter “*98” during the communication. The current call is holding, you will hear the dial tone, the other will hear hold music.
B. Call second telephone number and end with “#”. The call is transferred ,
ATA disconnect the call, hear the busy tone
2.Ask transfer:
A. To transfer the current call; first, press "*77" during the call ". The current call is holding, you will hear the dial tone, the other will hear holding music.
B.Call for second number.
C. To set up a call with second people (and ask whether to answer the call or not).
D. If second people agree to answer the call, then the middle side press "*98" to complete the transfer. The middle side will be disconnected from the call.
E. Second people do not agree to answer the call, then with the end of the call by the HOLD key, you can continue to call in th

The receptionist tell me the feature is called blind transfer, It is easy to configure, And she shows me how to configure. 3.There will show transfer success in 603. As shown in Figure 5.

3.603 communicates with 633, if 633 wants to answer, enter the transfer button,( As shown in Figure 8 below.) Then you can transfer success, 603 can hang up, 633 can communicate with 629.

4. If 633 don’t want to answer, 633 hang up, There will apply holding on 633’s screen. As shown in Figure 10 below. 603 enter hold, can recovery communicate with 629, As shown in Figure 11 below.
