When you forget the device’s login password, you will not able to manage the device. If there is no way to factory the device back to the default settings, you can try to change the login password with the following method.

1. Download the TFTP3 compressed package on the computer and unzip it, modify the file name of the 0021f226d23d file to the real MAC address of the phone, place the file under the TFTP server directory.

The parameter on the 0021f226d23d file are the following.

DBID_SUPER_WEB_PASSWORD=admin

AdminUser=admin

2. Run the tftp64.exe program.

3. Click Settings, click GLOBAL, check the following servers, and click DHCP.

4. Configure the DHCP server information as follows. The format of Option66 URL is tftp://computer IP/mac address file name

5. Set up a static IP on your computer as follows.

6. Connect the computer to the Internet port of the phone with a network cable. The phone gets the IP address and auto provision URL from the DHCP server on the computer, and then obtain the configuration for changing the password in the mac file. The phone will restart automatically, after that, the login password will be admin.

Note: If the password fails to be modified, please reboot the IP phone.
